Needing to reinvest in its digital marketing, Yokohama hired United Future (Wong, Doody, Crandall, Wiener’s dedicated interactive division) to re-envision yokohamatire.com.

Challenge

When sitting down with the Yokohama stakeholders to understand their competitive differentiator, they unanimously agreed: Technology. And they wanted a digital property that would be as technologically advanced as they are, while setting them apart from other tire manufacturers.

Solution

They also wanted to create a platform that could allow Yokohama enthusiasts to talk about their products. We did this by creating a content strategy that leverages Facebook content to improve SEO and strengthen brand perception. Users can upload pictures of their cars with different Yokohama tire products, and these images are uploaded and filtered on the website.

Results

Our entire creative team, from experience designers to copywriters, produced a stunning site informed by user-generated content with an accompanying robust Facebook presence. Additionally, our technologists built the site for the future, making it easy to update as the Yokohama story continues to evolve.
